Pulse Systems is a research-driven technology organization that develops software, AI systems, developer tools, and related services. The documents below govern use of our Services and describe our data practices. These texts are original and intended to be comprehensive; consult legal counsel if you require binding legal opinions.
Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and Pulse Systems ("Pulse", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing or using any Service provided by Pulse — including but not limited to websites, software, APIs, SDKs, hosted services, experimental releases, and developer tools (collectively, the "Services") — you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The numbered clauses below enumerate rights, obligations, limitations and disclosures. Each numbered clause is an independent provision that shall be construed in accordance with applicable law.
- Scope of Agreement. These Terms govern your access to and use of the Services, whether you are an individual, organization, or automated system. Use of any Service indicates acceptance of these Terms.
- Eligibility. You affirm that you are at least the minimum age required by applicable law to form a binding contract where you reside and are otherwise legally permitted to use the Services.
- License Grant. Subject to these Terms, Pulse grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Services for internal, non-commercial or commercial purposes where expressly permitted.
- Account Responsibility. If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity conducted under your account.
- Acceptable Use. You agree not to: (a) use the Services for unlawful purposes; (b) transmit malware or spam; (c) harass, defame, or infringe others' rights; (d) impersonate other users or Pulse personnel; or (e) circumvent or attempt to defeat security measures.
- Prohibited Conduct. You may not use the Services to facilitate criminal activity, to create content for illicit marketplaces, or to materially assist wrongdoing.
- Service Changes. Pulse may modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the Services at any time, with or without notice, and will not be liable for such changes.
- Beta & Experimental Releases. Experimental or beta features may be provided "as is", are not guaranteed to be stable, and may be revoked at any time.
- Submission License. By submitting content, data, feedback, or code ("Submissions") to Pulse you grant Pulse a worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, transferable license to use, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, distribute and display such Submissions for the purposes of operating and improving the Services.
- User Content. You retain ownership of user-generated content you supply, subject to the license in Clause 9 and these Terms. You represent and warrant you have all rights necessary to grant the license to Pulse.
- Privacy & Data Handling. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect and use information. By using the Services you consent to Pulse's collection, use, and disclosure of information as described in the Privacy Policy.
- Security Obligations. You must not intentionally compromise the security of Pulse's systems. If you become aware of a vulnerability or incident affecting the Services you must promptly notify Pulse via the contact channels provided.
- API Usage & Rate Limits. Use of any API is subject to documented rate limits and quotas. Pulse may throttle, suspend, or block API access to enforce reasonable usage, prevent abuse, or protect system integrity.
- Third-Party Integrations. The Services may integrate with third-party platforms. Pulse is not responsible for the performance or policies of third-party services, and your use of them may be subject to separate terms.
- Intellectual Property. Pulse and its licensors own all rights, title, and interest in the Services and associated intellectual property. You may not copy, reproduce, create derivative works of, or exploit Pulse's intellectual property except as expressly permitted by Pulse.
- Trademarks. Use of Pulse trademarks requires prior written permission. No right, title, or interest in trademarks is granted by these Terms.
- Paid Services & Billing. If you subscribe to paid features, you agree to pay all fees and taxes. Pulse's pricing, renewal, cancellation and refund policies are set forth on the applicable billing pages and may change from time to time.
- Free Services. Pulse may offer free services. Free services are provided "as is" and may be rate-limited, deprecated, or discontinued without compensation.
- Termination by Pulse. Pulse may suspend or terminate your access for breach of these Terms or for any conduct detrimental to the Services. Pulse's decision in such matters is final and in its sole discretion.
- Blacklist Policy. If you are blacklisted by Pulse Systems for violating rules or causing harm, such blacklist determinations are final and unappealable. Pulse reserves absolute discretion to refuse service, restrict accounts, or maintain blacklists without appeal or reinstatement procedures.
- Content Moderation. Pulse may remove or moderate content that violates these Terms or community standards without prior notice.
- Data Retention. Pulse retains data as necessary to provide and improve the Services and as required by law. Data retention policies may vary by product and are described in the Privacy Policy.
- Backups & Data Loss. While Pulse takes measures to protect data, you are responsible for maintaining backups. Pulse is not liable for irrecoverable loss of user data.
- Service Level. Pulse does not guarantee uptime unless a separate SLA is executed. All services are subject to maintenance windows and potential outages.
- Indemnity. To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold Pulse and its affiliates harmless from claims arising out of your use of the Services or breach of these Terms.
- Disclaimers. The Services are provided "as is" and "as available". Pulse expressly disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and noninfringement.
- Limitation of Liability. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pulse's aggregate liability for claims under these Terms will not exceed the total fees you paid to Pulse in the twelve months preceding the claim. Pulse will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages.
- Export Controls. You will comply with all applicable export and re-export control laws and regulations in connection with use of the Services.
- Compliance with Laws. You will comply with applicable laws and regulations when using the Services, including privacy, data protection, intellectual property, and consumer protection laws.
- Accessibility. Pulse endeavors to make the Services accessible but does not guarantee all accessibility requirements are met. Users should notify Pulse of accessibility issues to allow reasonable accommodations.
- Feedback. If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas ("Feedback"), Pulse may use such Feedback without obligation and without compensation to you.
- Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remainder of these Terms will remain in effect and enforceable.
- Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms without Pulse's prior written consent. Pulse may assign these Terms to any successor entity.
- Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Pulse concerning the subject matter hereof.
- Waiver. Pulse's failure to enforce any provision of these Terms will not be construed as a waiver of that provision.
- Governing Law & Venue. These Terms are governed by the law specified on the Service sign-up page or, if none, the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, excluding conflict-of-law rules. Venue for disputes will be the competent courts in the chosen jurisdiction unless otherwise required by law.

Privacy Policy
Pulse Systems ("Pulse", "we", "us") values privacy and data protection. The following policy describes the types of data we collect, how we use and share it, your rights, and our practices for securing information.
Below is an enumerated set of privacy statements and policy points; each numbered item is an independent policy statement.
- Controller. Pulse Systems is the data controller for the Services and is responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data.
- Scope. This Privacy Policy governs Personal Data collected when you access Pulse websites, use our software or APIs, or interact with our services.
- Data Categories — Account Data. We collect identifiers and account information such as name, username, email address, profile information, and password hashes when you register.
- Data Categories — Usage Data. We collect technical and usage data including logs, IP addresses, device identifiers, performance metrics, error reports, and feature usage.
- Data Categories — Content. Content you post, upload, or transmit while using the Services (text, images, messages, code) may be processed to provide Services functionality.
- Data Categories — Communication. We collect communications between you and our support or sales teams for support, billing, and product improvement purposes.
- Data Categories — Analytics. We collect telemetry and analytics to measure usage, improve performance, and understand product adoption.
- Data Categories — Billing & Payments. For paid services, billing information (billing address, transaction history, last four digits of payment instruments) is collected and processed by our payment processors.
- Data Minimization. We limit collection and retention to data that is reasonably necessary to provide, maintain, and improve our Services.
- Legal Bases. Where applicable, our lawful bases for processing include contractual necessity, legitimate interests, consent, and compliance with legal obligations.
- Use of Data — Service Provision. We use collected data to provide core functionality, such as account authentication, hosting, message delivery, and API responses.
- Use of Data — Improvement. Data helps us diagnose issues, enhance features, and personalize the experience for users and organizations.
- Use of Data — Research. We may process aggregated and de-identified data for internal research, product analytics, and academic collaboration.
- Use of Data — Security. Data is used to detect, prevent, and respond to security incidents, fraud, abuse, or violations of our policies.
- Use of Data — Legal Compliance. We may process data to comply with applicable law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests.
- Cookies & Tracking. We use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for session management, preferences, analytics, and feature experiments.
- Third-Party Services. We engage third-party vendors (payment processors, hosting, analytics, CDNs). Those vendors have access to data as necessary to perform services and are contractually obligated to protect it.
- Payment Processors. We never store sensitive full payment card numbers on our servers; payment processing is handled by PCI-compliant third-party processors.
- Data Sharing — Affiliates. Pulse may share information with subsidiaries, affiliates, and business partners for operational purposes in accordance with this Policy.
- Data Sharing — Service Providers. We share data with vendors who perform services on our behalf, under confidentiality and data protection obligations.
- Data Sharing — Legal Requests. We may disclose data in response to lawful requests from public authorities, subpoenas, or to protect safety and rights.
- Data Sharing — Corporate Transactions. In mergers, acquisitions, or asset sales, data may be transferred to successors, subject to contractual limits and notice.
- International Transfers. Data may be transferred and processed across borders. Pulse uses appropriate safeguards where required by law (e.g., standard contractual clauses).
- Data Retention Periods. We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services, comply with law, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
- User Rights — Access. Users may request access to personal data we hold about them and receive a copy in a structured, commonly used format where applicable.
- User Rights — Rectification. Users may request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data maintained by Pulse.
- User Rights — Erasure. Subject to legal exceptions, users may request deletion of personal data; retention may be required for legal compliance or legitimate interests.
- User Rights — Portability. Where applicable, we provide a mechanism for users to receive personal data in a portable format.
- User Rights — Objection & Restriction. Users may object to processing where legitimate interests are asserted, and we will consider reasonable requests under applicable law.
- User Rights — Withdraw Consent. Where processing is based on consent, users may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing prior to withdrawal.
- Children's Privacy. The Services are not directed to children under the minimum age of digital consent; we do not knowingly collect personal data from children below the applicable age.
- Security Measures. We implement administrative, physical, and technical safeguards that are designed to protect personal data from loss, misuse, or unauthorized access.
- Incident Response. Pulse maintains an incident response program; in the event of a data breach, we will follow legal obligations for notice and remediation.
- Data Protection Officer. Where required by law, Pulse designates a data protection officer or privacy contact; contact information is available at the end of this Policy.
- Automated Decision-Making & AI. PulseAI and related systems may make automated inferences or recommendations; users may request human review of automated decisions affecting legal rights.
- De-identified & Aggregated Data. Pulse may use aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified datasets for analytics, research, benchmarking, and product development.
- Privacy by Design. Pulse follows privacy-by-design principles to minimize data collection and embed privacy protections in product design.
- Opt-Outs. Users may opt out of certain communications or analytics tracking; instructions are provided in account settings or via support channels.
- Email Communications. We may send transactional and marketing emails. Users can manage notification preferences in their account settings.
- Marketing & Advertising. We do not sell personal information. Targeted advertising, if used, will be disclosed and users will be provided opt-out mechanisms where required.
- Third-Party Widgets. Embedded widgets and plugins (e.g., social login) are governed by the third party's privacy policy; Pulse is not responsible for their practices.
- Data Subject Requests. Requests regarding data access, deletion, or portability should be submitted to privacy@pulsebot.store. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
- Data Accuracy. Users should keep account information accurate. Pulse is not responsible for consequences arising from inaccurate information provided by users.
- Policy Changes. We may update this Privacy Policy. Significant changes will be posted and, where required, notified to users via email or conspicuous notice.
- International Users. By using the Services you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to the United States or other jurisdictions and processed consistent with this Policy.
- Contact & Compliance. For privacy inquiries or compliance issues contact privacy@pulsebot.store.
- GDPR & CCPA Considerations. We endeavor to comply with major privacy frameworks; if you are a resident of the EU or California, please include region-specific requests in your inquiry to the privacy contact.
- Retention & Archival. Some data may be retained in archived form for legal, regulatory, or internal audit purposes consistent with our retention schedules.
- Service-Specific Policies. Additional privacy practices may apply for specific products; these are described in product documentation or terms for those services.
- Limitations of Policy. This Policy does not create contractual rights beyond those explicitly set forth in any user agreement with Pulse.
- Liability & Remedies. Where permitted by law, Pulse's liability for privacy claims is limited as described in the Terms of Service; remedies may include correction or deletion of data where appropriate.
- Effective Date. This Policy is effective as of the date at the top of this page and may be revised from time to time.
- Ban LoopUsers who are blacklisted from Pulsebot are instantly banned when pulsebot is added or when the blacklisted user joins the server with Pulsebot in it. Unbanning these users results in a ban loop and will result in Ban Loop. When we find out Pulsebot will be removed from your server.
